These are the terms you accept when you register. Going to payment in the registration form counts as accepting them.

The race in EnglishThe binding Swedish versionPDF, in SwedishIn force from 30 October 2026

Organiser

The race is organised by Garphyttans Idrottsförening, orienteering section, Härdvägen 4, 719 40 Garphyttan. Questions about registration and the race: hej@bluemountaintrail.run.

Registration and payment

Your registration is binding once payment is complete. The entry fee depends on the course and on when you register, as in the price list at bluemountaintrail.run/anmalan. There are no extra fees. You pay by card, Swish, Apple Pay or Google Pay through the payment provider Stripe. The organiser’s confirmation states the amount paid.

Registration is open until and including 22 May 2027. After that you can only enter late, on site at the race office at 09:00–09:15 on race day, if places remain and at the late-entry fee.

Cancellation and refunds

The entry fee is not refunded, not even for illness or injury. If you cannot take part, you can instead transfer your place to someone else until and including 22 May 2027; see the next section.

If you want to be able to get your entry fee back in case of injury or illness, you can take out race insurance yourself (motionsloppsförsäkring), for example from Folksam (folksam.se/motionsloppsforsakring). Any payment then comes from the insurer under the policy’s terms, not from the organiser.

Transfers and changing course

While registration is open, until and including 22 May 2027, you can change your registration yourself through the link in your confirmation e-mail: transfer your place to another person or switch to another course. The right name and course then appear in the start list and on the race number. After that date, registrations cannot be transferred or changed.

If you switch to a more expensive course, you pay the difference. If you switch to a cheaper one, no part of the fee is refunded.

If the race is cancelled or changed

If the race has to be cancelled, moved or have its courses changed for reasons beyond the organiser’s control, such as extreme weather, fire risk, a decision by the authorities or the landowner’s decision, the entry fee is not refunded. The organiser will first and foremost offer a place in the following year’s race.

The organiser may change courses, start times and the race-day schedule if safety requires it.

Taking part at your own risk

You take part at your own risk. The courses run over trails, roots, rocks and boardwalks in hilly terrain, partly in nature reserves. You are responsible for being fit and healthy enough to complete the race, and for having the insurance you need.

The organiser is not liable for injury to people or damage to equipment, or for lost belongings.

Age

Participants under 18 are registered by a parent or guardian, who by registering accepts these terms on the participant’s behalf.

Competition rules

The competition rules of the Swedish Athletics Association (Svenska Friidrottsförbundet) apply, as do the organiser’s rules at bluemountaintrail.run/en/rules. Among other things, they say that you must follow the marshals’ instructions, that following the right course is your own responsibility, that littering leads to disqualification and that you must help an injured fellow runner.

The rules of Antidoping Sverige apply.

Race number and timing

Collect your race number at the race office from 09:00, at the latest 45 minutes before your start, or by 09:30 for the 6 km.

Timing uses a chip that is lent to you and handed back straight after you finish. A chip that is not returned is charged at SEK 300.

Photos and film

Photos and film taken before, during and after the race may be published on bluemountaintrail.run and on the organiser’s public social media, without payment. If you do not want to appear in pictures, tell the race office and we will do what we can.

Personal data

Garphyttans Idrottsförening is the data controller for the details you give when you register: name, year of birth, gender, club or home town, e-mail, phone, the name and phone number of a next of kin, and your chosen course. The next-of-kin details are only used if something happens to you during the race. You can give your next of kin after paying; it must be given by the time you collect your race number. The details are used to run the race, publish the start list and results, and send confirmations and information about the race, and are stored in Cloudflare’s data centres in the EU. Confirmations are sent through the e-mail service Sender, which is also used for the newsletter. Card details never pass through the organiser: payment is made with Stripe, which handles them under its own terms.

In the organiser’s registration records, the names and phone numbers of next of kin are deleted the day after the race. The runner’s name, e-mail, phone and year of birth are kept for twelve months after the race for invitations and marketing ahead of next year’s race. After that, e-mail, phone and year of birth are deleted from the registration records. You can opt out of marketing through the unsubscribe link in the e-mail or by contacting hej@bluemountaintrail.run.

Name, club or home town, course and time are published in the start list and results on bluemountaintrail.run and by the timing provider, and remain there as history. If you do not want your name in the lists, or want your details deleted after the race, e-mail hej@bluemountaintrail.run.

By registering you accept these terms.
